Yeah i bowl off spin, i was Bowling in the training nets the other day, and i kept getting slaughtered by this one guy and didn’t know what to do, what’s the best way to try and get out and aggressive batsmen?
Also any other tactics for an offspin bowler please…

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009I’ll probably kill myself for expsoing this, but the COLTS should have WON!!! I feel so dirty.
Watching the game on NFL network the other night and the Jets up 13-7 at midfield early in the 4th quarter they clearly FUMBLED and the Colts recovered!!! Johnny U. was in and he was ripping the Jets defense to shreds. Instead of Colts ball at the 50, the Jets kicked a field goal and basically put the game out of reach. If that fumble had been called a fumble, would the Colts have won 14-13?
How would it have played out with whiners if they had official reviews, Youtube, HDTV, DVDs, internet chat baloney and all the technology of today.
Oh yeah, the Immaculate reception may have been called back, too.
So, has technology helped the game or just destroyed what are commonly referred to as the greatest moments!!!
I guess we now know how the Tuck Rule and Spygate will be looked at 40 years into the future.

That’s true, I guess I was taking out the 3 and adding in the 7 I knew the Colts were getting 10 minutes later.
Many people say this game was fixed. Don’t forget that Namath guaranteed the victory despite the Colts were favorites by 18 points, how was he so sure?.
What does Viz type mean when talking about bowling balls?

Viz is used in the term Viz-a-ball which means it’s a "plastic" spare ball which has an image on the inside of the ball with a clear exterior. This way the image is not damaged by being on the surface of the ball.

Is it okay to play cricket on concrete?
Tuesday, December 29th, 2009Is it okay to play cricket on the street in front of my house? Or will that tear up the leather ball and the bat? Could i replace the ball with a tennis ball, for practice on the conrete? Will this majorly effect my Bowling technique?
the best way to play backyard (or street) cricket is with a tennis ball, but get some electrical tape and tape the ball up. otherwise the ball is too light, bounces too much, and doesn’t carry as far in the air as a normal cricket ball.
if you want to be able to swing the ball, tape one side heavily and only put a little on the other side. as other people have said, don’t use a leather cricket ball on the street as it will deteriorate quickly, but i wouldn’t even use it on yard grass, it doesn’t bounce enough and it too hard for the small space. taped-up tennis balls are the way to go. best compromise you can get.
as for the bat, most people have a very cheap, very thin cricket bat that they only use for backyard cricket. if you don’t, get one. they usually come with a dodgy little red tennis ball and stumps, all for about ten bucks. who cares if it wears on the toe? it’s disposable. using a match bat is overkill… and most players put "shoe goo" on the toe of their bats to protect against wear anyway.

Once you’ve released the ball, move your mouse left or right to get the bowl to move to the centre of the alley – making it easy to get a strike.
Speed is important for a perfect game as well, though.
Which Bowling Ball Should I Buy?
Monday, December 28th, 2009So it is mid season and my Bowling balls are not producing the numbers I think I should be achieving. I have a 208 average and through a cranker style shot. I narrowed my choices down to two balls; The Total NV and The Angular One. Price ranges are the same so that doesn’t matter. Which one should I buy?
Go for either one. Just let the pro shop know you’d like to have an exotic drilling like the PBA bowlers so that you will not have any trouble with non-reaction. I bowl exclusively with Brunswick equipment and can make the lowest hooking reactive or particle ball hook just by using an exotic drilling. It will save you money in the future, as long as you keep the coverstock fresh with polish or rejuvenator. Hope this helps!

Monday, December 28th, 2009SHouldn’t his throw be reviewed I mean it seems at least to me that when he threw it like the other guy hit the ball and everything that was obvious but he like kinda shot put the ball for a throw and it sahouldn’t have been a fumble. What do you think?
Anytime there is 2:00 minutes or less left, a coach cannot challenge. However, they have been doing a great job of reviewing questionable plays, especially in tight playoff type situations. They did review it and determined it was, in fact, a fumble.
I saw the ball get slapped out of his hand, then he slapped it forward in a last ditch effort to make it look like he threw it.
