I’m on my high schools bowling team and I’m looking towards purchasing my own Bowling ball. I learned how to hook last year, but its not very strong yet. So right now i’m looking for a bowling ball that is around $100 or less that has good hook. I’m a slow bowler, around 10-11 mph using a 14lb so i think im going to get a 12lb instead to gain speed. I was reading about the HAMMER ANGER ball and that looks pretty good, but if you know any others that you could tell me about i would really appreciate it. Thanks
If you want something good and durable, try Brunswick’s new Swarm, Maxx Zone, Copperhead or Ultimate Inferno. Hammer does have four different types of "RAW" models, of which the "Anger" is part of, and they are excellent Bowling Balls for those bowlers with a slow speed. You can find them for around $100 on bowling.com and shipping is free throughout the lower 48 United States. Good luck with your search!
Do you think you would live? Would you even try or would you go ahead and take the bullet?
If you’re talking about doing something beyond your
capabilities or giving up, I’d say go for it…you’de be
surprised at how many balls in the air you can manage.
not like a bowl && candle or anything superficial ,
Has it not occurred to you that maybe you shouldn’t be dabbling in this form of meditation at all? The Bible warns about this type of contact with spirits. That implies that if you do manage to contact a spirit, it won’t be of God. So even any correct advice or information given you may receive is certain to be just a lure to trap you.
Now the act of meditation in and of itself isn’t negative at all! But you should meditate on something in particular and not just leave your mind blank. Nature abhors a vacuum, as the saying goes, and who knows what you’ll attract. Another saying states that an open mind is like an open wound, you have to be careful it doesn’t get infected!
There is some very good advice in St. Paul’s letter to the Philippians:
"Finally, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things." Maybe that would be a good first piece of scripture you can meditate on!
I’ve provided a link to the entire chapter below so that you can see it in context. The context is very rich.
My friends and I would like to start a winter Wii bowling league. The only fair way to do it would be to use handicaps. I understand how to get an average, but how do you apply a handicap per game?
This site gives pretty clear instructions on setting handicaps for both teams and individuals. Once you get the idea behind it, it’s very easy:

I’d like to see the specs on my ball and the right hook pattern for my ball. I bought it after it was discontinued. It’s my first real ball and I’m trying to learn to bowl better. I can’t find info or a picture of the lane I would be most successful using.
here is their website… they have all the tech. specs, and ask their experts…
I’ve always just used the 11 pound house balls at the Bowling alley because my fingers fit best in them, but if I’m going to buy a ball I want to make sure I’m using the right weight. How can I determine if this weight is appropriate?
if you feel cofortable with that weight just get a ball about the same weight…as a rule of thumb the ball should be roughly no more than 10-15% of your body wieght..
note one thing that i say if you can hold the ball at your side with your fingers in the ball and hold their for 20-30 sec. you should be able to handle that ball comfortably
I’m not talking about the finger holes. In some balls I see at the Bowling alley, there’s a small part of it that’s drilled off, near the finger holes. What is it for?
because the balls are all weighted, and still all the same size. the manufacturer drills a hole into the ball and removes a calculated amount of weight, then fills in the gap with a less dense and therefore lighter material.
can anybody tell me if there is a shopping centre or anything for kids or a park and if there is a shopping centre is it big as my wife loves shops
Calow Garage is right there.
Tapton Park is about a mile away.
I need to learn everything from the basics and what the tools are and what they’re called to how to do everything. I mean I know ABSOLUTELY nothing! I can make a bowl of cereal and make sandwiches, but that’s about the extent of my kitchen know how. I need to know where and how I can learn how to do this very basic skill.
