Bowling advice.?

Any quick bowling tips? I’m using The One from Ebonite, and I have it drilled with a more mild movement because I don’t put as much rotation on the ball. I’ve used it for a year, and I was doing very well, but in the last couple of weeks I’ve been doing terrible. My average was up in the 180s – and in my last 3 matches, it has fallen to about 140.

Any quick advice or just a brief summary of the basics so I can learn how to bowl again?

Been there – done that! :) Every bowler(including the pro’s) goes through slumps. What I do is tell myself.."ok, back to basics".. and then make sure I’m hitting my mark, ball speed is in check, not getting to fast with my feet, rolling not throwing the ball,etc.etc..

……….CONCENTRATE ON SPARES………..
Remember, you can avg 190 & never strike!

Also, typically any where you bowl the shot is going to be between the 5-10 boards, stay in there and move your feet accordingly! missing right = move feet right, missing left = move feet left & keep everything else the same.

Personally, I think many people make the mistake of trying to many different things all at the same time,over-concentrate & talk themselves out of a good shot, try to hard, moving every other shot and in general try to make it more complicated than it needs to be! I avg.215+ at 2 different centers,I have a SCREWED up approach (8-13 steps) Fred Flinstone some say and don’t wear bowling shoes.I do have to move my shot from time to time but generally I just move my feet. WORKS FOR ME!
BUT EVERYONE is different….and has a different way of Bowling, the key is..Just be consistant & bowl your game!
Last but not Least……..
ENJOY IT & HAVE FUN!
