Well, it is difficult to answer.

Test Match cricket is said as the real test of cricket. Every professional cricketer prefers test cricket rather than playing a one day match or T-T Match. But if we look this from public opinion, its no doubt they see 20 20 cricket or a 50 over match a better alternative because they do not like waiting for 5 days to get a result.One day cricket’s short form is t20 cricket.It is most exiciting form of all levels of cricket.

20 20 cricket has recently gained power after T-T World cup 2007 at South Africa. It was a superb tournament ,and what made it more superb a India vs Pakistan clash at the finals. As always it was a close match and India hold  there nerves till the end and managed to defeat Pakistan by 5 runs although Misbah ul haq had some other intentions. It was a thrilling match.

So which is better T-T cricket or 50 over match or Test cricket? Its just cricket… doesn’t matter if its 20- 20,50-50 or a test match. 

20-20 cricket is getting famous day by day .People now can see lots of 6′s and 4′s from there favorite batsmen and can enjoy  .Within few hours the result is declared and we don’t have to wait for 5 days for result.
Common rules of 20-20 :
Each innings is limited to a maximum of 20 overs.Scheduled Hours of Play
(1 Hour 15 minutes per side)

BREAK TIME/INTERVAL in 20-20
The interval is 15 minutes duration. In decreased overs matches, the interval will be cut down to 10 minutes.
Exchange of bowling
 Teams have one hour 15 minutes to bowl 20 overs.

Out OF TIME
The incoming batsman must be in position to take guard or for his partner to be     ready to receive the next ball , within one minute 30 seconds of the fall of the   previous wicket .If he fails to do so he will be considered OUT

The FINAL Result to make a complete match
Each side must have faced (or had the opportunity to face) five overs in order to  make a match. The Duckworth Lewis Method shall be used in matches interrupted by rain etc.

Each bowler may bowl a maximum of four overs.

Free Hit after a  No Ball
After a no ball a free hit is given to the batsman

Short Pitched Bowling
As in other one-day competitions, one short-pitched ball is allowed per over.

Penalty on Over rate if time taken is more than 1 hour 15 minutes
The six-run penalty for each over not bowled will apply – all sides are expected to be in position to bowl the first ball of the last of their 20 overs within one hour 15 minutes playing time.

Net Run Rate
A team’s net run rate is calculated by deducting from the average runs per over scored by that team, the average runs per over scored against that team.

In case of a tie there will be a bowl out between two teams. Each captain will appoint its five best bowlers for the bowl out, bowlers of team hitting the stumps more than the opponent bowlers wins the game just like penalty shoot out in foot ball.It happened in a recent 20 20 match between India and Pakistan at ICC 20 20 WC.

From the time the Saxons settled until the late 18th Century, Worthing consisted of a number of fishing and farming communities. It then began to grow along with other settlements such as Brighton and Bognor Regis when with the medical profession praising sea-water as a cure-all.It became fashionable to visit the seaside.

For Worthing this popularity was in part due to George III deciding that his daughter, Princess Amelia, should visit in 1798. By 1803 with a population of approximately 2500, some streets, fine residences, hotels and boarding houses, Worthing gained the status as a town.

Since then Worthing has expanded, incorporating local villages to develop to what it is today. The Esplanade was built in 1821 and extended in 1865.  The pier was completed and opened in 1862.  Despite disasters in 1913 when it was badly damaged by gales and in 1933, the South Pavilion being destroyed by fire and then during World War II, a hole was blown in it to prevent it’s use as an enemy landing stage, it has been repaired and remains a major attraction for the town.

There is much to offer the visitor. During the day attractions include the seafront and Esplanade, Pier, numerous public parks, gardens and open spaces as well as a pleasant shopping centre. There are also many places close by to visit such as historic towns, landmarks and places of interest.

For those who are more energetic, there are wonderful walks and cycle rides on the South Downs and along the coast. You can participate in or watch many sports activities with football, golf, Bowling, swimming and leisure centre facilities being well catered for. Of particular note is Beach House Park which is the home of the outdoor bowling governing body, Bowls England and one of the world’s most famous venues. Water sports include rowing, sailing, kite and windsurfing.

At night time, as well as there being many restaurants, clubs and pubs, quality productions can be seen at the Connaught, Pavilion Theatres, Assembly Hall, films at the Connaught Screen 2 and recently restored Dome Cinemas.

A wide variety of accommodation is available for the visitor. There are many hotels and guest houses on the seafront and in the town and in addition, inns and farmhouses in the locality. Self catering options including cottages, holiday flats, chalets and static caravans are available along with caravan and camping sites.

The ‘inswinger’ delivery is where the bowler bowls the ball that swings in towards the batsmen. This can prove to be a useful weapon in your Bowling armoury. This delivery cause’s batsmen trouble as the ball is coming into them, forcing them to play at the ball. Otherwise, the ball will crash into the stumps, or into their pads, causing a possible L.B.W decision.

How to bowl an inswinger:

The ball position is vital in producing an inswinger. The ball will swing towards the side of the ball which is the most roughest. This is due to a greater wind resistance on the rough side of the ball, compared to the smooth shiny side, causing drag or the ball to move towards the rough side. Shinning one side of the ball becomes important when fielding to enable the bowlers to produce as much swing as possible. When bowling to a right hand batsman, the rough side of the ball should be facing towards the batsmen’s leg side (right hand side of the ball), with the shiny side facing the off side (left hand side of the ball). When bowling to a left hand batsman, the rough side should be facing towards the batsmen’s leg side (left hand side of the ball), with the shiny side facing the off side (right hand side).

The seam position is also important. Generally, the ball will swing where the seam is positioned. To bowl an inswinger to a right handed batsman, the seam should be facing toward the leg slip region, with the rough side of the ball on the right hand side of the ball. This will cause the ball to swing from outside off, into the batsmen. The seam position to a left handed batsman should point towards a leg slip position, with the rough side of the ball on the left hand side.

The grip to produce the seam position should have the index finger and the middle finger held in line with the seam (ie. Right hand bowler bowling an inswinger to right hand batsmen will have the index finger (next to the thumb) on the left hand side of the ball with the middle finger on the right hand side of the ball).  The thumb should grip the bottom part of the ball, on the seam or to the side of the seam where you are trying to swing it. Once this grip has been applied, the wrist should point towards the target of leg slip. Once the grip, seam position and ball position are correct, the ball should swing into the batsmen when bowled.

Other factors will help produce ‘inswing’ such as wind direction and having a front on stance through delivery will help aid the inswinger delivery. I hope you have great success in delivering an inswinger. Good Luck.

The off-spinner is the opposite form of spin bowling to the leg-spinner. Hence, the delivery spins the opposite way. To a right handed bowler, bowling to right handed batsmen, the ball spins towards the leg side, from the off side. There are 3 types of deliveries an off-spinner can bowl. These include the off-break (spin), which is the bowler’s stock delivery, the doosra and the arm ball.

Off Break: The off break is the standard, stock delivery of the off-spinner. As the name suggests, the ball breaks away from the off-side, towards the leg (right handed bowler, bowling to a right handed batsmen). The grip on the ball should have the thumb under the ball, on the seam. The index finger and middle finger should grip the top part of the ball, on the seam. The seam position should face across the batsmen. The wrist position at delivery should face towards the point/cover region. When delivering the ball, the wrist should turn clockwise, like you would to turn a door-knob. This imparts clockwise (off) spin on the ball. The ball will then turn upon pitching, into the batsmen.

It is important to be prepared to give the ball some flight. That is to loop the ball. This will give you a chance of taking wickets as it draws the batsmen into a loose shot. You and your captain have to be prepared to go for runs when Bowling off-spin. However, it does provide a good chance of mixing things up, and taking wickets. The Off Break delivery can vary by the pitch of the delivery (full or short), the flight of the delivery (loopy or flat), the speed of the delivery (slow or fast), and the amount of spin applied to the ball.

Doosra: The Doosra delivery is the opposite of the Off Break. Instead of the ball spinning into the batsmen, the ball spins away from the batsmen, as a leg break would. The grip of the Doosra is the same as the Off Break, with the same clockwise twist of the wrists. The difference comes from the wrist position. The wrist turns so that the back of the faces the batsmen. This causes the ball to be imparted with the spin going in the direction away from the batsmen.

Arm Ball: This delivery is likened to the leg spinner’s slider. The ball goes straight on towards the batsmen, instead of spinning. This delivery is bowled without turning the wrists or fingers. This causes the ball to be released with no spin on it, resulting in a straight delivery. To make this ball effective, the seam should be held upright. This will cause the ball to swing.

This ball, with the doosra, should be used as a surprise ball to confuse the batsmen and to keep them guessing.
