I want to buy a bowling ball?

I bowl in a league, and conditions are dry to med. oil.? I currently throw a blem. ball, pearl resin. Doesn’t move a lot, is a good ball for this house (i stand three boards left of the center dot & throw out over the 8-9 board). I want something that hooks a little more aggressively (had a problem with late hits, not entering pocket good). I’m looking to spend $150-200.

Also good ball for oily cond.

For dry to medium oil, a reactive resin pearl bowling ball at your price range would be the Columbia Big Shot at around $125, the Brunswick Fury or Total Inferno for $125, the Hammer Black Widow or No Mercy for $150 and probably the Ebonite NV for $150. (these are online prices. drilling will be extra at your local pro shop) I’ve used these Bowling Balls so I’m familiar with them and know of their potential and how they can provide excellent pin action with minimal single pin leaves.

Just let the pro shop owner know what budget you are looking to work with and if you need a more aggressive reaction, don’t go for a higher priced ball upsell, just ask him to drill it "exotic" so that a lower price ball will react like a professional threw it. That way, you’ll save money in the long run for polish and cloths because Bowling balls need to be conditioned after each use in order to keep their performance.

Good luck!
