I recently missed one of my meetings at work for my job at cold stone creamery. I looked in the update email they gave about the meeting and to my surprise we are changing the tip system from splitting the tip bowl every night to distributing the tips evenly at the end of the pay period. Here’s a quote from the email itself,
"Last but not least, credit card tips will soon be accepted. It’s a little different this time though. Tips will not be split at the end of each shift, but will be held by Dina. At the end of the pay period all of the tips will be added up and divided according to hours and distributed on checks accordingly. Evidently, no more cash tips."
from what I understand everyone will be getting tips depending on amount of hours they work rather than getting it the night of the job for the service they provide.

Well.. you will see on the Credit card receipt the amount that was tipped to you.. keep track of this amount until payday… you never know you might make more money then tipped? If not… you a fact to backup your concerns..
