Tonight was my 2nd time bowling in 6-7 years and i got a best score of 161 (3 games, 124-114-161)
i know 300 is perfect but how is 161?
Is it average? I think it would be fun to join a league.

Yes a 161 is a good score. I have been Bowling for over 30 years and have bowled (15) 300 games and have a few 800 series. And I even throw a few low games now and then. So just keep having fun this is a game that keeps you humble because of all the oil patterns. And pin weights and other stuff.

That’s pretty good for not bowling for 7 years. When I was in a league, my average was around 150. Really good guys average like 200, pros like 220-230. You’d get a lot more consistent if you joined a league. I had fun in mine, just be aware of how LONG the league lasts when you sign up. Some of those things last 26 weeks. Mandatory bowling can get old.

I used to be in a kids bowling league and I was only getting between 90-120, and now that I’m 21 I can barely hit 120 anymore. 161 is amazing, I’d love to get a 161 bowling.
